Objectives of EYFS Green Grass Nursery:

 

For EYFS Green Grass Nursery Children:

• To provide a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment where children can play, grow and learn.

• To respect each child’s individuality through our programs, activities and routines making sure these are flexible and developmentally appropriate.

• To provide a balanced program with the opportunity to develop physical, emotional, intellectual, imaginative and social skills through both free play and organized activity.

• To be consistent and balanced in the approach to all matters concerning individual children.

• To encourage children to express themselves, to communicate and listen to others and to make choices and decisions and to experience natural consequences.

• To encourage children to seek challenges as part of their exploration of a safe environment.

• To encourage children to be aware of and to respect the needs of others and the environment in which they live.

• To enable children to experience a familiar environment and develop trusting relationships with staff by having a stable staffing pattern.

 

 

For EYFS Green Grass Nursery Families:

• To work in partnership through regular and open communication between staff and families.

• To share and exchange ideas and experiences between staff and families.

• To always provide guidance and support to families,

• To respect and understand the role and influences in the home and the valuable teachings it has to offer.
