EYFS Green Grass Nursery Health, Safty and Environment:

 

EYFS Green Grass Nursery Class rooms: Our classrooms are well-equipped and charmingly decorated to create a safe, fun environment, which motivates exploration and play. Our child-to-teacher ratios ensure that each child receives personal attention and loving care:

Toddler Center: age group 12 months upto 2years – 1 adult to 4 children.

Nursery Center: age group 2-3 years – 1 adult to 5 children.

Foundation Center: age group 3-4 years –1 adult to 6 children.

Facilities: The facilities at EYFS Green Grass Nursery are especially designed to enhance and stimulate young children's learning.

Outdoor facilities: EYFS Green Grass Nursery has a large shaded outdoor play area, shaded tricycle area, sand area, planting area and splashing area.

Indoor Facilities: EYFS Green Grass Nursery has a large indoor playing area as well, role playing area, library, audio visual room, junior chefs kitchen.

 

Health and Safety: EYFS Green Grass Nursery is equipped with a fire detection system along with the required extinguishers. We run fire drills on a regular basis to train the children on how to react in the case of an emergency. Further, our nursery is monitored with CCTV, which is used by management to monitor the classrooms and facilities at all times. Every single roomor hallway in  EYFS Green Grass Nursery has a safety gate to ensure supervised access at all times. A member of the nursery's management team is always at the reception area to greet parents and authorized visitors who request entry into the building.

We at  EYFS Green Grass Nursery will maintain records of your child’s arrival and departure. You or a designated person must sign your child in and out of the nursery on the sheet provided in the classroom each day. We must be informed if anyone other than you or the designated person will be collecting your child. Staff will telephone the parents if a non-designated person arrives to pick up a child, If parents cannot be reached the child will not be released.

At EYFS Green Grass Nursery we aim to protect and promote the health of children within our environment. The information that we gather about your child's health status enables us to identify children with special health care needs and to develop a health care plan that anticipates possible emergency situations.
